Dear friends and colleagues,

I’m pleased to introduce you at the 9th edition of the annual Workshop of the multidisciplinary network SeS Redox and Catalysis. After an electronic conferences organized in 2011 and four edition of WSeS organized in Perugia the workshop moved in Japan (Tokay University) under the guidance of prof Iwaoka in 2016 as pre-conference of ICCST-13. In 2017 we celebrated 200 years of Selenium in Wroclaw (Poland) and the WSeS-6 was chaired by prof. E. Wojaczyńska. The last edition (WSeS-7) was guested by the brasilian meetng ESSeTe-7 and chaired by prof. Ernesto Lang (UFSM). I chaired in Perugia last edition and is a pleassure for me invite you to partecipate at this edition in Lodz (Poland) under the guidnce of Prof. Jozef Drabovicz and Piotr Kiełbasiński 

The WSeS meetings are designed as a space for young researchers (undergraduate students and PhD students) in order to give them the opportunity to present their results and researches in a stimulating and multidisciplinary environment.

The designed Chairman will soon provides all the information necessary for the registration (free of charges) and the accomodation.

I hope that everybody will enjoy the lectures and the friendly environment, welcome to WSeS-9 !
